Welcome! Being principal of Brunswick Acres is an incredible honor and I look forward to meeting and working with each of you as your children learn and grow at our wonderful school!

I began my teaching career right here at Brunswick Acres School in 1996, where I taught 4th and 5th grades. After ten years in the classroom, I became a Staff Developer for the district and later, the Supervisor of Math and Science for the South Brunswick elementary schools. In these roles, I worked all around the district, writing curriculum, visiting classrooms, and training teachers in grades K-5.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Vassar College, along with my teaching certification. I earned my Masters Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Scranton.

In my spare time, I love traveling, camping, crafts, and music. My husband Ernie and I are also the proud parents of two wonderful children, Emily and Noah.

I am thrilled to be back at Brunswick Acres, which I truly consider my home away from home. I am a strong believer in a positive school community and a committed and focused educational team, all of which can be found here at Brunswick Acres. I look forward to partnering with you to provide the best educational opportunities for your children in the coming years.

It is with great pleasure that I join the Brunswick Acres School community, a special place where teaching and learning thrive within a nurturing environment, for the final phase of the 2018-2019 school year.

This spring I am returning to represent the South Brunswick School District in this leadership capacity based upon my interim administrative work this past fall in both Cambridge and Greenbrook Elementary Schools.  Prior to that assignment, I have served as a tenured Assistant Principal in Readington Township Schools and an Interim Assistant Principal in Flemington-Raritan School Districts. At the collegiate level, I have supervised student teachers at Rider University.

Before leaping into school leadership, I taught in a range of elementary classrooms in both New Jersey and California.  Along my teaching path, I was fortunate to earn the Presidential Award in Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) given by the White House.

I have earned my Liberal Arts B.A. and teaching credential from San Diego State University, my M.A. in Educational Administration from New York University and my Ed.D in Educational and Organizational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.

In addition to my professional interests, I enjoy swimming, hiking, paddle-boarding, traveling, cooking and volunteering. I am honored to serve the Brunswick Acres School community and look forward to working with the students, staff and parents of this exceptional school. Together we will synthesize our efforts in wrapping up a successful school year! Go Brunswick Acres Bears!

Welcome to Brunswick Acres! It is my pleasure to join Brunswick Acres as Assistant Principal. I began my teaching career in South Brunswick, and have proudly served since 2005. In my time in the district I have taught Fourth Grade and Fifth Grade at Brooks Crossing Elementary School, and Elementary Gifted & Talented for all South Brunswick Elementary Schools.

I have a B.S. in Psychology from Rutgers University and a M.Ed in Elementary Education from Rutgers Graduate School of Education. I received my Administrative and Supervisory certifications from the Foundation for Educational Administration's NJ EXCEL Program for Educational Leadership.
